Base settlement can result in standing water puddles and alligator cracking in the asphalt. The paint lines will end up fading and cracks will end up forming over time as well. It is advised to have a yearly parking lot assessment done on your parking lot to be proactive and get you to your capital expenditures.

Asphalt Paving and Resurfacing

When a parking lot has reached its lifespan we do recommend resurfacing the parking lot (also referred to as a parking lot overlay). What we would do is: inspect the work area, test the area for faulty soft spots that need repair prior to paving, work with the client to come up with the best option to fix problem areas, and do any repairs needed to ensure the overlay lasts many years to come.
